Punalu’u is a famous stop for tourists and visitors from all over the world because they get to see adorable Hawaiian green sea turtles basking in the sun on the beach. If you get lucky, you might even encounter one of the more rare turtle varieties called Hawksbill Turtle somewhere in the waters.

The Sunrise on Haleakala

Head to the summit of Haleakala and prepare yourself to be blown away by the dazzling sun rising against the sky at an elevation of 10,000 feet (3,050 m).

The Double-Tiered Waterfall At Wailua Falls

Ever seen a double-tiered waterfall?

If not, Hawaii’s fourth largest island Kauai features one of the must-see sights in Hawaii called the Wailua Falls. These are mesmerizing and ever-beautiful double-tiered waterfalls that were also once featured on an opening scene of the famous TV show Fantasy Island.

While watching the waterfall, if you get lucky, you might be able to spot a beautiful rainbow towards the base of the falls. If the angle is right, it’s nothing short of spectacular.

When the flow of the water is very high, the falls often branch out into a third-tiered flow which is another quite unique sight to behold.
